Config Manager

The FS2Crew PMDG 777 Configuration Manager is used to access FS2Crew features.

The most important button is the Enable/Disable Voice Control button on the bottom left.

It is used to add (or remove) the FS2Crew entries to or from the PMDG 777's panel.cfg file.

FS2Crew consists of gauge files.  FS2Crew can only load if the FS2Crew entries are on the PMDG 777''s panel.cfg file.

To avoid write permission issues, we strongly recommend that all users disable User Account Control (UAC) and run the Config Manager as an Admin.

To run the Config Manager as an Admin, right click on the Config Manager's Desktop icon and select "RUN AS ADMIN".

You should also run FSX as an Admin if you are not in an Admin account.

Right click on the FSX.EXE file and select 'Run this program as an Administrator' in the Compatibility tab.

If you have FSX installed in the Program Files folder, Windows write permission issues can sometimes block FS2Crew's attempt to write to the panel.cfg file for the host aircraft.

We generally recommend users install FSX outside of the Program Files folder.
