Go Around Procedures

1. To initiate a go around, advance the throttles to the rating detent and press the GA button on the power levers.
2. With the displayed FS2Crew mode in "BEFORE LANDING", speak: “MISSED APPROACH, CHECK POWER, FLAPS 15" (Note if the Flaps were in the 15 position, you would call for "FLAPS 10", not 15).
3. The FO will  call “POSITIVE RATE” when a positive rate of climb has been established.
4. After the FO has called positive rate", speak: “GEAR UP”.
5. Passing 400 AGL, speak: "SELECT HEADING SELECT" or "SELECT NAV".
6. Speak: "SELECT ALT SEL".
7. Above the acceleration altitude (usually 1000 AGL), speak: "FLAPS 0, I A S ONE EIGHTY FIVE, CLIMB CHECKLIST TO THE LINE". 
8. Continue to the alternate airport or shoot the approach again.  If shooting the approach again, cycle the Mode to “BEFORE LANDING” before calling for Flap Extensions, Landing Gear and commencing the Before Landing Checklist. 

Note: If you do not want to use speed 185 initially when calling for the Climb Checklist, you may use the following commands:

"FLAPS 0, I A S ONE SIXTY, CLIMB CHECKLIST TO THE LINE"
"FLAPS 0, I A S TWO HUNDRED, CLIMB CHECKLIST TO THE LINE".
"FLAPS 0, I A S TWO FORTY, CLIMB CHECKLIST TO THE LINE".
